A brief history of Jaguar
In 1922 two motorcycle enthusiasts, William Lyons and William Walmsley founded the Swallow Sidecar Company. The "SS Jaguar" name first appeared on a saloon car in 1935. Shortened to "Jaguar" after WWII, Jaguar has since become a legend in the automotive world producing such celebrated vehicles such as the XK120, XK150 and the E Type Jaguar.
