The latest generation of Rolls-Royce Phantom makes a glittering wedding car. The styling cues inherited from classic Rolls-Royce cars help make the Phantom a spectacular bridal vehicle. It has the sense of occasion of a classic Rolls-Royce wedding car along with the state-of-the-art in technology and engineering. Combining the traditional English craftsmanship and engineering along with parent companies technical expertise creates a spectacular vehicle and in turn an awe-inspiring wedding car.
The first Rolls-Royce to be produced under the umbrella of the BMW group. The Phantom is a masterpiece, setting new levels in luxury and refinement. The design by Ian Cameron is timeless in execution. Drawing on DNA from previous generations of Rolls-Royce cars, the Phantom has huge wheels and the coach doors of vintage designs and the all-important "waftability" that make the car every inch a Rolls-Royce. Ian Cameron describes the demands of designing a new Rolls-Royce: "something that keeps you awake at night, because the challenge and the excitement of trying to produce the best car in the world is very humbling."
The Phantom is built around an aluminium space-frame which makes this behemoth motor car surprisingly light, agile and very safe. One of the most distinctive design cues is the coach doors. Not only does this pay homage to some of the Rolls-Royce's heritage but also makes the car easy to get in and out of, which is an important consideration when being used as a wedding car. In addition this design makes the car great for wedding photographs.
